As a part of celebration of 72nd Independence Day, with a theme of creating awareness of cervical cancer screening and a goal of making India cervical cancer free, SAINIWAS HEALTHCARE under the aegis of ISCCP held Cervical and Breast cancer screening camp at slums of Kalwa, interior of Thane district, Mumbai, with VIA and CBE. Around 75 ladies were screened with VIA.
Health talk on cervical cancer as a totally preventable cancer, its symptoms, precancerous conditions, HPV as causative agent, cervical cancer vaccination, and importance of screening was given.
