Annual Conference of ISCCP, 2025 at Kolhapur.
The 17th ISCCP CON was organised in Kolhapur from 18th to 20th April, 2025 by the Kolhapur Obs n Gyn Society. Dr Bharati Abhyankar & Dr Baban Patil were the Organizing Chairperson & Organising Secretary respectively. Dr D. Y. Patil hospital was closely involved in making this conference a success.
On 18th of April there were 3 live workshops on:
1. Basic Colposcopy
2. Advanced Colposcopy
3. HPV/ LBC/ histology.
Theme of conference was EVaST: Educate, Vaccinate Screen & Treat
Conference was inaugurated by Dr Usha Saraiya. Dr Suman Sardesai & Dr Sharma were the Guests of honour. Dr Leela Digumarti the out going president handed over the baton to the new team of Dr Aruna Nigam …..the incoming president of ISCCP.
Dr Neerja Batla, Dr Vijay Zutshi, Dr Malik, Dr Shankar Narayan and Dr Gouri Gandhi were falicitated for their examplary work. Discussions were done to achieve the call given by WHO … Elimination of Cervical Cancer by the Year 2030….by increasing HPV vaccination, screening for cervical cancer n treatment of precancerous n cancerous state. The conference was attended by 200 delegates. It was a memorable event.
