18th ISCCPCON, 2026 held in Adyar Cancer Institute, Chennai from 27th of March to 29th of March 2026, was a tremendous success under visionary Dr Aruna Nigam President ISCCP, Dr Bindiya Gupta Secretary ISCCP & their team, the organising team of Dr Ujwala n Dr Jayshree from the host institute.
On the first day of the conference 27th of March there were 5 workshops:
- Colposcopy workshop
- Surgical videos
- Community Workshop for Cervical cancer for Nurses
- HPV Molecular workshop
- Cytology n Pathology workshop
Theme of conference was “CALL FOR ACTION – CONCEPT TO COMMUNITY”.
Conference was attended by over 170 delegates from across India. International faculty & delegates also graced the event. It was inaugurated by Dr G Jerard Maria Selvam on 28th of March. There were well knit delebrations about HPV n cervical precancer n cancer.
Dr Vijay Zutshi gave a brilliant Dr Das Oration on “Selfcare to Specific Management in Vulval Disorders.”.
Dr Veena Acharya was bestowed the life time achievement award for her dedication in raising the awareness n screening for all women cancers & her relentless work in this field.
ISCCP GOOD WILL award was given to Dr Kalpana Khanderia from Jamnagar Gujarat for her maximum awareness activities under ISCCP.
Awards were given for poster presentations, paper presentations, slogan competition. Three Travel grants were also awarded.
The conference also saw the release of 2 books: Gynecologic Precancers to Cancers. A case based guide for primary & secondary care.

Stalwarts of ISCCP were also felicitated & bestowed Honarary fellowships
For the first time FELLOWSHIPS for Colposcopy & Cervical Pathology & For Vulval Disorders …..V Insight were granted to all the trainees who successfully completed these courses after an exit exam.
ISCCPCON 2026 thus ended on the evening of 29th of March with a promise of overcoming/ eliminating Ca Cervix n other Gynaecological cancers in near future.
