FOGsd and ISCCP in collaboration organised a cancer screening and awareness programme at Govindpuri, Delhi. Organising secretary was Dr Anita Sabharwal. Dr Saritha Shamsundar, Dr Sonu, Dr Anjana Bhargava, Dr Manisha, Dr Archana Rao and Dr Anuradha Arora were there for support.
VIA was done on almost 50 patients while Pap smears were taken for some.
Breast examination was done on all women while 100 women had bone mineral density. Video presentation on breast examination was also shown. The entire programme was very well appreciated by general public and it was a very interactive and stimulating.
