Dr. Shruti Bhatia (Senior Consultant, Department of Gyne Oncology) had conducted a few activities in the months of December and January, to spread awareness regarding cervical cancer screening and vaccination. Campaining was done to spread knowledge regarding Colposcopy test and free colposcopies were conducted in December and January. We did free colposcopy tests of 20 poor women with abnormal cytology and high grade lesions were detected in 11 of them. They were counselled for further treatment which was also subsidised. Cervical cancer awareness health talks regarding screening and HPV vaccination were conducted in 4 Delhi University colleges, nursing staff and secretarial staff of our hospital, and the attendants of patients in our hospital , in the month of January.
