When surgery is the solution for endometriosis.
Endometriosis is a painful disorder in which cells that resemble the uterine lining develop outside of the uterus. Although it occurs most frequently in the pelvis, it can occur anywhere in the abdomen or pelvis.
Endometriosis can create an extensive inflammatory response across the entire body, leading to weariness and nausea. It may harm the intestines. It can influence each and every organ system.
Patients will usually have pelvic pain or cramps during their menstrual periods.
“They may also have pain during sexual activity, bowel motions, and urine. It truly can be an illness of the entire body.
Women can treat endometriosis symptoms with over-the-counter or hormone-balancing medications, but this does not cure the disease.
Surgery is the only method to get to the source of endometriosis.
Laparoscopic surgery is widely used to diagnose and treat endometriosis since it is less intrusive. Endometriosis can be treated using a minimally invasive technique for even the most severe instances.
“If we remove the disease, if we remove the endometriosis from the body, these symptoms and quality of life can improve”.
