On 17th February, Dr Priya Ganesh Kumar and Dr Dinesh Gupta were invited as faculties by FOGSI Belgaum OBGY society for a one-day Colposcopy workshop held in association with KLE Medical Institute at Belgaum.

Topics covered were Science of HPV, LBC, Cellular Biology of Tumor, Basics of Colposcopy with scoring system, interesting case discussions & live demonstrations of colposcopy cases.

The workshop was attended by around 120 participants.

Beneficiaries of the workshop included UG/ PG KLE Medical College and Gynaecologists from Belgaum and other surrounding places.

Inauguration was done by Dr Mahantshetti – Principle/ Dean KLE Medical College, Dr Merkood – President FOGSI Belgaum OBGY society, Dr Bellad – HOD OBGY, Dept KLE MEDICAL college.

Book on ‘Colposcopy in Practical Gynaecology’ authored by Dr Priya Ganesh Kumar and Dr Dinesh Gupta was presented to KLE Medical College Library.
